I’m graduating from college in a few months and losing my good student discount, so I need some advice on how to keep my Roswell GA car insurance quote from rocketing up?

I feel your pain, Melissa.
The good student discount is really one of the best discounts ever. You hate to lose it. But, if you made a good choice (according to the car insurance companies, anyway) of major while you were in school, you might get to replace it or almost replace it with something else. Some companies give discounts to people with degrees or jobs in the following fields (and more):
- mathematics
- engineering
- biology
- astronomy
Also, if you’re a teacher you can usually get a deal through your union. It’s nowhere near what the student discount is, but it’s good enough. You’re probably going to join the union anyway, so you might as well get the discount that will allow you to save around the amount you pay in membership dues on your car insurance policy.
