I’m packing up to move to another town halfway across the state (I live in Atlanta right now, but will be moving onto a few acres of land), and I was throwing stuff randomly into cardboard boxes I picked up my bill which had my Georgia car insurance quote on it. I’m reminded that I’ll need to change my address when I get there, but is there anything else I should address?

A few of the things that you should take into account now that you will be living in a new location is how it might affect your driving habits. Living in Atlanta, you’re closer into the things you need, like shopping centers, family, churches; and you might even forego your car from time to time because of access to public transportation. So, not only will you be living in a new place once you move, but you’ll probably be driving more (or fewer) miles per year.
You should start picking up a Georgia car insurance quote here and there right away (preferably BEFORE you do your last minute packing, but I guess it’s too late for that). Moving to a new location has more to do with your new quote than just because of the different mileage amounts used. A new location also means higher costs of living, higher or lower crime rates, and many other things, such as more claims filed per capita, which could cause your Georgia car insurance quote to inflate.
